Batman and Robin at the mercy of Poison Ivy!

Batman and Robin at the mercy of Poison Ivy!

Round 3 of Penciljack’s 2015 Summer Slaughter tournament. By this point I was feeling a bit burnt out, and opted for a comic “cover” rather than a comic, thinking it would be quicker. But the coloring job was rough going, and it ended up taking me at least as long as a comic would have. Thanks to Dean “Beastie” Beattie, who bested me in this round with his Charlie Cooper, and to Joseph Dredd, for The Ginger Slasher.

Drawn for round 2 of Penciljack’s 2015 Summer Slaughter tournament. Thanks to Brandino Nebbitt for the use of The Smile! Fair warning: This one gets a little graphic!

Quick sketch of the judge, jury and executioner himself!

Batman and Carrie Kelley-Robin, a la The Dark Knight Returns. A book I read a million times as a kid, and it was a huge influence on my comics storytelling.

First comics appearance of The Dagger! This story was drawn at high velocity in a single afternoon for round 1 of Penciljack’s 2015 Summer Slaughter tournament. Thanks to Dan3000 for the use of Tech-Face!

The X-Men’s Rogue, flyin’ free!

A few years back I drew a bunch of angels and demons. Well, one angel and a bunch of demons, really. I kinda planned to make it all into a comic, but it never really went anywhere.
